Tue Apr 7 An Easter Lunch at "Tara" $ TBA pp
Let's start out spring with a day to Sharon, PA home of "Tara", an elegant Greek Revival-style mansion built in 1864. We will have the opportunity to tour this Country Inn rich in Southern charm and history as it has its name from the epic story "Gone with the Wind". Tour the rooms that are named after the characters and events of the Civil War. Also included here is wonderful family style lunch with plenty of options to make everyone happy. Following this visit we will go to Daffin's Chocolate Kingdom for all the chocolates, bunnies and jellybeans anyone could want. Time is running short so please sign up quickly so I can make this trip a reality.

This tour is filled with stories of wealth, ambition and grandeur of the early 20th century when Cleveland was home to more millionaires than any other city of its size. Lavish estates were built to outshine on another, taking us back to an era of huge industrial growth in Cleveland. This day promises an enjoyable mix of history, storytelling, discovery and a great luncheon in the mix. One fabulous old church is included.

Mon May 18 Cleveland Ethnic Markets Tour $ 105.00 pp
The first day of the week is a perfect time to go shopping for all the ingredients for a week full of great meals. Be sure to bring along a cold bag or cooler (plenty of room under the bus) to store any of the cold items you are sure to want to buy at the following markets.
We will start our day off with a visit to Alladin Bakery for a huge assortment of pitas - something I bet you have never seen before along with other breads and bakery items. Then we are off to The Westside Market which has been under renovation and the outdoor area is now undercover for any kind of weather - a wonderful improvement. Then to the inside that has every ethnic meat assortment available, especially sausages that seem to
be a great favorite. Bakery, bread and pasta are in no short supply! A bullet lunch will follow at "Republic" with Corbos Bakery right next store! And then the best for last - Gallucci's Italian Market that has everything Italian. If you are tired at this point you can even purchase a premade dinner to take home and a bottle of wine to go with it. It doesn't get better than that.

Join me for the 2 PM matinee performance of "My Fair Lady" at The Ohio Light Opera in Wooster, Ohio at the Freelander Theatre.
